DES MOINES – It was a huge day for Central Iowa on the mat at the state wrestling tournament.

18 individual local winners were crowned. The Rams of SEP had 4 individual champs.

SE Polk set the bar as arguably the greatest overall team ever. The Rams set a new scoring record with 259.5 points.
Indianola, Carlisle, and Johnston all finished top 5.

Burlington Notre Dame won Class 2A, Don Bosco Class 1A.
