Forecast: Get ready for midweek rain

Our rainfall Saturday and overnight amounted to the totals we were anticipating and helped to put another small dent in our dry conditions.

Sunshine has returned, warming temperatures up into the 50’s in most areas on this November Sunday. Your weather timeline follows into Tuesday afternoon.

Our next rain chance comes Wednesday as a cold front paired with a disturbance aloft create precipitation across our area. Amounts look to be similar to Saturday’s, if not a bit more, as shown in the second image.

Yet again, the 6-to-10 and 8-to-14-day outlooks keep us in above-average temperatures and precipitation. No snow chances are showing up in the extended forecast… yet.

It does appear that a more vigorous system may affect the middle of the country roughly around Thanksgiving week.
