It is parent-teacher conference time in Central Iowa schools, and one central Iowa school district is bringing a twist to the experience. Instead of a teacher telling parents how their student is doing, students are demonstrating what they are learning. Winterset Junior High’s Authentic Learning Showcase is this week’s Scholastic Spotlight.
