DICKINSON COUNTY, Iowa (KCAU) — On Tuesday, a man was killed after being pinned by a Lull in Dickinson County.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office said they were alerted to a man who was pinned under construction equipment near the 3300 block of Erie Avenue just after 9 a.m.
Oliver Balduino Florencio Velasquez, 32, of Worthington, was reportedly operating on a Lull when it began to tip, so he exited the Lull. However, it landed on him and pinned him.
By the time law enforcement and EMS arrived, he had been freed. He was taken to a local hospital, but he ultimately died from his injuries.
