DES MOINES, Iowa — An overnight ramp closure is happening on I-235 in Polk County on Wednesday, starting at 10:00 p.m.
The Iowa Department of Transportation says the westbound I-80 to westbound I-235 ramp will be shut down due to the need for maintenance work on the westbound I-235 bridge over Broadway Avenue. The ramp is expected to reopen at 5:00 a.m. on Thursday.
A detour will be in place to direct drivers.
The Iowa DOT advises drivers to use extra caution in work areas and obey posted speed limits and other signage.
