Shawn Tyler, a driver who passed through the Hickman Interchange, said that detours are difficult to deal with.

“That’s the nightmare, trying to find alternative routes to go to and, you know, but, I mean, it’s it’s doable,” Tyler said. “You just have to have a little patience.”

Matthew McConville, a Hickman interchange driver, said that he is okay with construction detours if they pay off in the long term.

“I’m all for improvements, and with a little bit of discomfort for having to maybe not, you know, be accessible at times, that it’s well worth it in the long run,” McConville said.
