DES MOINES, Iowa — A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and injured in Des Moines Friday morning.

At around 8:30 a.m. the Des Moines Police Department and Des Moines Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash at the intersection of Merle Hay Road and Ovid Avenue. According to the DMPD, the pedestrian suffered non life-threatening injuries.
