Forecast: Warming continues!

We began Saturday in many areas with two-digit lows, including Des Moines’ 11! We warmed up nicely after that. Our warming trend continues into Monday and the work week, and your weather timeline breaks it down…

Here’s a look at snow depth as we began the day Saturday across the upper Midwest. We’ll be removing a lot of this this week:

Lows Saturday night will stay in double digits, and the snowmelt moisture in the air could lead to some patchy fog overnight into the morning hours, as demonstrated in the visibility image below from 8 a.m. Sunday.

The gallery below has a nice look at highs coming up the next six days. Car washes will be busy!

We do have light rain chances from passing systems both Monday night and Wednesday. Amounts will not be impressive.
