The Hawkeyes were in the market for a quarterback, and they got one. Iowa has already lost three scholarship quarterbacks to the transfer portal, but good news is finally here. According to 247sports, Auburn transfer Hank Brown has committed to Iowa.
Brown is a redshirt freshman with plenty of potential. He stands at 6’4 and has the arm strength and athletic ability to succeed in the Big Ten. He started two games for the Tigers in 2024, but the results were underwhelming. Brown completed 62% of his throws for six touchdowns and three interceptions.
