ISU Cyclones take on ASU Sun Devils in Big 12 Championship Saturday

ARLINGTON, Texas — The Iowa State Cyclones will take on the Arizona State Sun Devils today to hopefully win the Big 12 Championship for the first time. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. at AT&T Stadium, and WHO 13’s Mark Freund is there. Watch the videos below for a full preview of the big game.

Iowa State made it to the Big 12 Championship game after being picked sixth in the conference in the preseason. But, on the other side, an Arizona State squad that was picked dead last in that same poll. At the heart of the Sun Devils’ success is Head Coach Kenny Dillingham.

WHO 13’s Mark Freund had the chance to talk to Chris Williams of Cyclone Fanatic about the Big 12 Championship matchup.

The Big 12 Championship game kicks off in just a short time, and for Matt Campbell’s squad, this is it. Iowa State has a golden opportunity to break through the glass ceiling that has long encased this program. A 10 win season was the first box to check, a Big 12 Championship the second. It will be on the line in a game between teams picked sixth and sixteenth in the preseason Big 12 poll.
