DES MOINES, Iowa — A car fleeing from police crashed into a northwest Des Moines ministry overnight.

According to the Des Moines Police Department, a car containing at least three people fled from a traffic stop shortly after midnight. Responding officers lost sight of the car, but later located it crashed into the Freedom for Youth Ministries building in the 2300 block of Hickman Road.

Police said two of the passengers have been located, but the driver has not been found. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
