WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Ahead of the big game, Smash Park got the festivities started with a bags tournament where some players shared their guess for the Super Bowl 59 champion.

Smash Park held their seventh annual Super Bags Tournament, which encourages amateurs and pros to come out for a chance at the grand prize, $500.

Contestants in Sunday’s game came representing their teams and ready to celebrate. While one fan wasn’t confident in his bag’s abilities, he’s confident his team will pull through.

“For me, mediocre at best, there are a lot of professional bag players her today, so it’s going to be tough,” said Ryan Statler. “Chiefs baby! Chiefs win 31 to 28.”

Another fan is certain both he and his team will celebrate a victory.

“Should be pretty good, we always have some luck here,” said Codie Adams, “No better way to spend the day then playing bags on the Super Bowl, it’s always fun.”

Adams thinks the Eagles will walk away with the win, 31 to 27.

Proceeds from Sunday’s tournament will go towards the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
