AMES, Iowa — The Iowa State Cyclone football team is coming off its most successful season in program history at 11-3 and looking to continue the prosperity into 2025.
The Big 12 announced its schedule for 2025 on Tuesday, revealing Iowa State’s full schedule.
The Cyclones start off the season on foreign soil with a matchup against Kansas State in the Aer Lingus College Football Classic in Dublin, Ireland, on August 23rd. The in-state Cy-Hawk showdown against the University of Iowa Hawkeyes will be played in Ames in 2025 on September 6th.
The Cyclones will also play Colorado for the first time since 2010. The October 11th meeting will be the 66th game in the series between the schools, making it one of the longest rivalries in ISU program history.
There are three byes as part of the Cyclones season: September 20th, October 18th, and November 15th.
