DES MOINES, Iowa — Two people who were shot in a home in the Lower Beaver neighborhood Monday afternoon have died.

At around 4:38 p.m. the Des Moines Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at a home in the 3900 block of Lynner Drive. When officers arrived at the scene they found two people, one a 15-year-old male and the other a 24-year-old male, inside a home with gunshot wounds, the DMPD said. Both victims died from their injuries at the scene.

According to DMPD, evidence collected so far indicates “all persons involved in this incident are accounted for.”

There is no ongoing danger to the public, the DMPD said. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing and more information will be released when made available.
