DES MOINES, Iowa — Brenton Skating Plaza is going back in time Monday night, giving attendees a chance to skate down memory lane for 80s night.

From 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., you can relive the music, fashion, and fun of the 1980s with the cost of one general admission ticket. If the 80s aren’t your jam, the plaza is hosting a 90s night next Monday, February 10th.

The MLK Junior Donate and Skate Day at Brenton Skating Plaza has also been rescheduled for February 10th. From noon to 9:00 p.m. donating non-perishable food items or adult-sized new socks for Central Iowa Shelter & Services will get you a free admission and skate rental.

The original event date was canceled due to extremely cold temperatures.
