WINTERSET, IOWA — The sitting Treasurer in Madison County has been arrested and charged with a list of felonies according to announcement made by the Sheriff’s Office on social media on Friday.

According to the post, 37-year-old Amanda Devos was arrested on Friday following an investigation. The charges against her include:

• Felonious Misconduct in Office
• Tampering with Records
• Fraudulent Practices 3rd Degree
• Theft 3rd Degree
