We began Sunday with very cold temperatures, especially in the north where skies were clearer overnight. As such, we have a cooler day than Saturday in progress. Still, we’re about where we should be this time of year. And we have sunshine! Your weather timeline takes us into Tuesday…

It will be a warmer, but breezy day on Monday. Keep that in mind as you get the kiddos dressed in the morning. In fact, every afternoon this week looks to be at least a bit breezy.

We are still looking at a system that will affect us Friday afternoon into Saturday morning. Some models have this rain change over to a little bit of a slushy snow accumulation on Saturday, and some don’t. We’ll keep you informed.

The extended forecast into the first week of February seems to signal temperatures at or below average, along with higher than average chances for precipitation.

We don’t have much snow on the ground in the upper Midwest (as seen below), but we still have signals of snowfall coming at some point during the first week or two of February.
