DES MOINES, Iowa — RAGBRAI 52 has announced the 2025 trail which will bring cyclists on a 406-mile journey through Iowa.
RAGBRAI, Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, is an eight-day ride that brings participants on a tour of Iowa while they enjoy music, food, and the cycling community.
According to their website, RAGBRAI is the oldest, largest, and longest multi-day bicycle touring event in the world.
The annual reveal party was held at the Vibrant Music Hall in Waukee. RAGBRAI 2025 will take place from July 19 to 26. With the festivities and expo kicking off in Orange City.
The 2025 RAGBRAI route:
- Day One: Milford
- 70.1 miles
- 1,522 feet elevation
- Day Two: Estherville
- 44.6 miles
- 1,395 feet elevation
- Day Three: Forest City
- 74.1 miles
- 1,308 feet elevation
- Day Four: Iowa Falls
- 68.3 miles
- 1,449 feet elevation
- Day Five: Cedar Falls
- 49.5 miles
- 1,262 feet elevation
- Day Six: Oelwein
- 38.2 miles
- 1,210 feet elevation
- Day Seven: Guttenberg
- 61.2 miles
- 2341 elevation
The total climb on the 2025 route will be 10, 487 feet, with the total miles coming to 406. This year’s route is the second shortest route and the sixth flattest route.
