DES MOINES, Iowa — A vehicle crashed into the Basic Bird restaurant in Des Moines Thursday afternoon.

According to a post on Facebook, a vehicle crashed through the front of the restaurant located in the 2600 block of Beaver Avenue. The vehicle smashed the front window and caused damage to the brick wall. No injuries were reported.

The restaurant said it would be closed the rest of Thursday and would update patrons on when they would reopen on their social media pages.
