GRIMES, Iowa — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is on the scene investigating the death of a woman in Grimes.

Captain Ryan Evans of the Polk County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched to the home at 702 SE Dovetail Road at 9:23 Tuesday morning. He said the victim was an adult woman.

No other details were immediately available, but Capt. Evans said more information would be released shortly.
