ANKENY, Iowa — The Ankeny Fire Department fought an early morning fire on the the 1900 block of SW Cascade Falls Drive.

Crews responding around 5:30 a.m., and according to scanner traffic officials communicated that the fire could have been caused due to a faulty Christmas light.

Video taken from the scene in the morning showed several people standing outside the home talking with first responders and officials. An investigation is ongoing into the early Sunday morning fire.
