INDIANOLA, Iowa — The Indianola Varsity Baseball Team will get the chance to play in the home of the St. Louis Cardinals this summer.

On Thursday the Indianola Baseball team announced on X that the team will be playing against Bettendorf at Busch Stadium following the St. Louis Cardinals and L.A. Dodgers game in June.

The game is scheduled for Saturday, June 7. The Cardinals and Dodgers play at 1:15 p.m., with Indianola and Bettendorf following at 5 p.m. Tickets for the Cardinals-Dodgers game will also get you into the high school matchup and can be purchased on the Cardinals’ website.

Former Indianola Indian Casey Blake played 13 seasons in Major League Baseball, the final four of them with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
