Wet start to a warm weekend, wrapping up 2024 in central Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa — Foggy conditions on Thursday will give way to wet weather for the start of the last weekend of December. Dense fog will continue to persist in parts of eastern, central and north central Iowa through mid-afternoon.
