IOWA CITY, Iowa — The Iowa Hawkeyes face off against the No. 19 Missouri Tigers in the TransPerfect Music City Bowl on Monday.

The Tigers (9-3) will finally have a bowl-game rematch against the Hawkeyes (8-4). The last time the two teams played against each other was in the 2010 Insight Bowl in Tempe, Arizona, where the Hawkeyes won 27-24. The two were supposed to meet at the Music City Bowl in 2020, but the game was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is the second time in three seasons that the Hawkeyes have played in the Music City Bowl. The Hawkeyes have qualified for a bowl game for 12 straight seasons.

The TransPerfect Music City Bowl will be played at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday. Kick off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. It will be aired on ESPN.
