We began the day with chilly temperatures once again, but rebounded nicely as warming was helped along by a little sunshine and south winds. Your weather timeline takes you closer to Christmas:



A wind shift line moving through the state early Monday may touch off some flurries or a light mix, but I’m not anticipating any travel impacts. We’ll see more sunshine in the afternoon Monday, but mostly cloudy skies return Tuesday along with chances for flurries.

Christmas day will be mild and cloudy, as will most of the day Thursday. By the time Thursday evening rolls around we’ll see rain chances increase in the state, lasting through Saturday. Aniticipated rainfall amounts by next Sunday are seen below:

The extended outlooks below again keep us in chances for above average temperatures and precipitation amounts into the first week of January. There are no indications of any cold blasts coming… yet.
