‘Sensory Santa’ hopes to provide positive experience for children in Norwalk

NORWALK, Iowa — Children with sensory needs have a chance to see Santa this weekend.

The “Sensory Santa” program allows children who require special care to enjoy their experience with Saint Nick.

It’s taking place on Sunday, Dec. 8 at the Norwalk Easter Public Library.

Participants will get a photo with Santa printed on a Christmas tree ornament at no cost.

It’s being organized by Norwalk Santa, a community member who has collected donations for families in need in past years.
