WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — The Jingle in the Junction holiday event starts Thursday night in West Des Moines’ Historic Valley Junction.
Jingle in the Junction takes place four Thursdays over the holiday season from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. November 21st is the first night in the series with others taking place December 5th, 12th, and 19th.
Steve Frevert, the Executive Director of the Historic Valley Junction Foundation, said the event goes a long way to supporting local businesses.
“They know this is the most important time of the year for them. We’re super fortunate to have so many small, locally owned, independent businesses that come here, you know, dozens and dozens of shops, restaurants, eateries, places that people want to come and be either with their family, with their friends, with their neighbors. So it really is a kind of a community aspect to it,” Frevert said.
November 21st’s event will feature a Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at 6 p.m.
