DES MOINES, IOWA — US Representative Randy Feenstra is returning to Congress for a third term in Iowa’s 4th District. The Hull, Iowa Republican is projected to defeat Democrat challenger Ryan Melton, the Associated Press is projecting on election night.

Feenstra previously served 12 years in the Iowa Senate before challenging incumbent Republican Congressman Steve King and defeating him in a primary in 2019.

Feenstra was challenged by Melton in 2020 as well, defeating him then, 67% to 30%.
