DES MOINES, Iowa– Police are investigating the robbery of a Des Moines convenience store Monday morning.

It happened around 10:10 a.m. at the Git N Go at 1240 Keo Way. A post from the Des Moines Police Department’s account on X said no weapons were displayed during the robbery and the suspect fled on foot.

There’s no indication of any ongoing danger to the neighborhood from the incident, according to police.

There will be an increased police presence in the area as the robbery investigation continues.
