DALLAS COUNTY, Iowa — The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a seven-month-old boy who was initially hospitalized after becoming unresponsive at a Perry day care earlier this week.
Dallas County Sheriff Adam Infante said emergency responders were called to a day care on Jones Street on Monday after receiving a report of an unresponsive baby. The child was transported to a hospital for treatment. He died on Thursday, according to Sheriff Infante.
No charges have been filed in connection with the death.
No other details were released by the Dallas County Sheriff.
