DES MOINES, Iowa — An investigation is underway after a fight led to a shooting in Des Moines Monday evening.
Officers with the Des Moines Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at around 6 p.m. in a parking lot near Southridge Mall. When officers arrived at the scene, the DMPD said they found shell casings in the 1200 block of East Army Post Road.
According to the DMPD, evidence collected so far indicates that a dispute between juveniles escalated into a shooting. No injuries were reported.
The DMPD said more information will be released when available.
