DES MOINES, Iowa — It was a chilly start to the day, with frost reported in some areas. Breezy conditions kept the air mixed and kept more frost from forming, but the wind won’t be with us Wednesday night. Expect a colder night overall, with frost and freeze advisories in effect.

The weather stays mild the rest of the week, and football games on Friday night should stay dry. There are small, light rain chances on Saturday and Sunday, but the next best rain chance looks to come late Monday into Tuesday. It’ll be breezy next week as well.

Highs and your WHO 13 7-day forecasts are above. The extended outlook continues to show us at or above-normal temperature-wise.
