MADISON COUNTY, Iowa — A Norwalk man was killed during an overnight UTV crash in Madison County.

According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, just after midnight in the early hours of Saturday dispatch received a 911 call reporting a UTV crash with injuries. Authorities reported to the intersection of Quarry Trail & Quailridge Avenue, northeast of Winterset.

Authorities and First Responders arrived on scene and identified the driver of the UTV as 19-year-old Harlan Tomlinson lll. The MCSO says Tomlinson was killed when the UTV entered the ditch and rolled.

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is continuing an investigation into this crash.

Assisting the Madison County Sheriff’s Office at the scene was the Madison County Ambulance, Winterset Fire Department and the Madison County Medical Examiner’s Office.
