OGDEN, Iowa — An Ogden home was destroyed after fire crews say a car fire spread to the rest of the home Friday evening.

According to Woodward Fire & Rescue, they responded to Ogden on a mutual aid call for a car fire that had spread in the garage and then continued into the home. Authorities say all occupants made it out of the home safely.

Woodward fire fighters assisted with an interior attack and extinguishing flames in the attic. The flames were finally brought under control with help from Perry, Boone, Ogden and Woodward fire crews.
