Gabrielle Vázquez is a seasoned business litigator, mediator and advisor with 18 years of experience guiding clients through complex legal and business challenges. With her business-minded approach, Vázquez partners with founders, executives, and in-house counsel to deliver practical, high-impact solutions tailored to their industries and goals.
Vázquez career has taken her from federal judicial chambers to top-tier law firms and boutique practice, united by a focus on results, relationships and integrity.
Vázquez legal career included an 18-month federal judicial clerkship in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. She furthered her litigation skills at Am Law 100 firm Hughes Hubbard & Reed and the New York office of Am Law 200 Midwest firm, Thompson Hine. Most recently, Vázquez developed her practice in the service of her clients as a partner with boutique firm McGrail & Bensinger, where she expanded her work to include fractional general counsel services.
Fluent in Spanish and committed to equity in the legal field, Vázquez is also a trained mediator who served on panels for the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the New York Supreme Court – Commercial Division in New York and Westchester Counties. She is an American Arbitration Association A. Leon Higginbotham Jr. Fellow and frequently leads trainings on mediation, diversity, and anti-bias for judges, mediators and attorneys.
A graduate of Princeton University and Fordham Law School—where she received an award for excellence in appellate advocacy—Vázquez launched her new firm in the Des Moines metro area to provide clients across Iowa and New York with bespoke legal services that are tailored to advance the interests of their businesses.
