WINDSOR HEIGHTS, Iowa — A crash is causing a significant traffic backup on Insterstate 235 near Windsor Heights.

According to the Iowa Department of Transportation 511 website, two lanes of westbound I-235 near the 8th Street and 73rd Street exit in Windsor Heights are closed due to a crash.

The DOT is reporting a 15 minute delay for westbound commuters, with traffic backing up to near the MLK Jr. Parkway exit in Des Moines.
