Warm and dry weather continue in Iowa, but shift may be coming

DES MOINES, Iowa — It was a hot late September day, and the warmth and the dry conditions stick around.

We are in the below normal category for rainfall for the month in Des Moines. Things have really dried out after a rainy July.

So it’s nice to see something like the below in our future. A pattern change looks to be coming starting next Monday, with rain chances and cooler temperatures. Makes sense as it’ll be October, after all.
