MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa — The Marshalltown Police Department is asking for the public’s help in searching for a suspect the department called armed and dangerous.

Police are looking for 69-year-old Dewey Perdue. According to the department Perdue is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs around 200 pounds. Police say that officers were called to a Marshalltown home on Saturday night where they found two people shot, with Perdue allegedly leaving the scene.

One victim has been treated for their gunshot wounds and released from the hospital. The condition of the other victim is not known at this time. WHO 13 News will provide updates to the public once the police department makes that information available.
