WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — Historic Valley Junction announced early Thursday afternoon that the farmers market was canceled due to storm threats.
The farmers market, along with the Music in the Junction event, were scheduled to take place Thursday, September 18 at 4 p.m., but due to the threat of thunderstorms across the metro during the evening hours, the events were canceled.
The last Valley Junction Farmers Market of the season will take place next week on Thursday, September 25.
