DES MOINES, Iowa — Police in Des Moines are seeking help from the public to locate a man wanted for allegedly sexually abusing a child.
The Des Moines Police Department is hoping tips will lead to the arrest of Jermaine Tyrone Patton, 46. DMPD said Patton has active felony warrants for sexual abuse of a child. The alleged abuse happened over a more than decade-long period, according to evidence in the case.
Patton is 5’11” and weighs about 230 pounds. Police provided two photos of him.
Police said it’s believed Patton has left the state and may have gone to Arizona.
