Johnston Elementary School kids now get a special surprise that comes from a vending machine, and it’s not candy or soda! A private family foundation helped the five Johnston Elementary librarians purchase fun vending machines that hold books. The Johnston Community Schools Foundation purchased the first supply of books for the machines. The vending machines and the students enjoying the books are this week’s Scholastic Spotlight.
