DES MOINES, Iowa — Ingersoll Live, an annual block party, brought thousands to the Des Moines neighborhood for a full day of entertainment.
Ingersoll Live featured food vendors and local businesses, giving attendees the chance to try out restaurants located along Ingersoll Avenue year-round.
The event featured live music, street performances, a kids zone, and more.
Jacob Siemer, an Ingersoll Live attendee, said that nothing beats the community in Des Moines.
“I think that it’s better than home. People here are amazing. The food is great. Everyone is humble and down to earth and I just love it here.” Siemer said.
The action in downtown Des Moines continues Sunday with the final day of the the World Food and Music Festival. Learn more about the more than 50 vendors and live music events here.
