DES MOINES, Iowa — A few scattered showers and storms will move through late Friday night into the early morning hours. Heavy rain is not expected. Cool air will move in after.

Storms move into the vicinity of a cold front. Lows in the 50s and 60s will follow.

Dewpoints will drop behind the front, making things feel cooler and a lot less humid. We may see wind gusts in the vicinity of 20-25mph on Saturday and Sunday.

Highs for the next six days are above, and all of them will be below the average of around 83 degrees. Extended forecasts keep the air cool and dry.
