DES MOINES, Iowa — The best new food at the Iowa State Fair has been crowned.

After a week of voting, fairgoers have crowned the Bacon Chicken Ranch Eggroll from Winn & Sara’s Kitchen as the winner of the 2025 Best New Food contest. This is the second year in a row that Winn & Sara’s Kitchen has won the contest. Last year their Bacon Cheeseburger Eggroll took the top prize.

Winn & Sara’s Kitchen competed against two other finalists, which included The Scotcheroo Shake from Over the Top and the Three Little Pigs from Whatcha Smokin? BBQ.
