WEST DES MOINES, Iowa — An investigation is underway in West Des Moines after a report of shots fired was made Friday morning.
The West Des Moines Police Department said the report came in around 8:15 a.m. about shots fired in the 5800 block of Westown Parkway. Police said it is believed two vehicles were involved in the incident and both left the area.
Shell casings were recovered in the area.
There’s no evidence that the incident was linked to any businesses in the area.
No other details were released by police.
