DES MOINES, Iowa — We warmed a bit today and managed to stay dry despite a passing front late in the day. We now head into a nice and DRY (!) couple of days as temperatures slowly rise Wednesday and Thursday.



Steam builds back into the forecast by Friday, and the added heat and moisture could fuel an isolated storm or two early on the last day of the work week as a stationary front moves into Iowa.

That front will hang around into Tuesday, and more storm chances will come our way late Sunday and into the beginning of next week as the boundary lingers.
