Verizon, Center for Neighborhood Technology and startup Hyfi launched 50 floodwater sensors in the city of Chicago to provide city managers, emergency preparedness officials and affected communities with data that can be used to mitigate the impacts of flooding. The sensors operate on Verizon’s 5G network and are distributed across flood-prone areas in Chicago. #pressrelease
