Forecast: Monday night rain, then dry again

We’ve warmed up on yet another summer-like Sunday as our wacky fall continues in central Iowa.

As seen in the weather timeline below, temperatues will warm again Monday before rain chances move in very early Tuesday morning.

You may need to throw a jacket on a kiddo in the morning, but they’ll likely take it back off when they leave your line of sight. And it won’t be needed in the afternoon.

We do have a chance, as mentioned above, for scattered light rain between about 11 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday. Amounts won’t be impressive.

That will be our main precipitation chance through next weekend. We are monitoring slight chances later in the week, but they look very low for now.

Highs for the next six days can be found below. We do see a little cooldown Wednesday into Thursday.

Yet again, the extended outlooks below keep us warm and mostly dry into the beginning of November. We all know this won’t last (it does look to get cooler after 10/30), so enjoy!
