WEBSTER CITY, Iowa — An investigation is underway after two people were found dead in a Webster City home Monday morning.

Officers with the Webster City Police Department responded to a home in the 1200 block of James Street at around 10:45 a.m. According to the police department, officers discovered two adults dead at the home. Their cause of death has not been released.

Webster City police say this is an isolated incident and that there’s no known threat to the community.

The investigation into the peoples’ deaths is ongoing.
