Two highlights from districts on the north side of the Des Moines Metro this week! North Polk High School student Frankie Huether can now say she is a published author and has received recognition for her young adult novel. At Ankeny Centennial, they’ll be receiving a whole new supply of music instruments from Barry Manilow thanks to an award their band director received from the music legend. It’s all in this week’s Scholastic Spotlight.
